General Summary

Responsible for schedules, budgets, resources and project deliverables. Delivers business results by ensuring that project management best practices are being met. Responsible for making sure the project goals and objectives are being kept. Knowledge of larger landscapes without neglecting granular details while tracking project health, staying alert for risk and resolving issues as they arise. Maintains standards and monitors project scope and quality requirements. Responsible for arranging all temporary housing for KIA GEORGIA and KMC Team Members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of the projects while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.
  • Conduct quarterly inspections of furniture/fixtures/equipment in each; report audit findings to management making recommendations for environment improvements; request repairs or replacement as required.  
  • Maintain inventory of corporate housing rooms, furniture, and essentials.  Conducts move in and move out audits, documenting any issues and replacing items as deemed necessary.
  • Help develop, recommend improvements, and maintain business portal systems for corporate housing request.
  • Arrange temporary housing for KIA GEORGIA and KMC Team Members based on requested received through business portal system and/or management team.
  • Maintain contracts and lease agreements with vendors insuring all required KIA GEORGIA documentation (Service Agreement, Confidentiality Agreement, Certificate of Insurance, etc.) are current and accurate.
  • Process and reconcile all invoices for corporate housing and projects.
  • Creates and updates procedures related to corporate housing; maintains and updates departmental reports
  • Creates and updates management on all ongoing projects
  • Assist in other areas of Corporate Services when needed.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field along with two (2) to five (5) years of progressive experience in the facility management field in a manufacturing environment preferably within the automotive industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in making recommendations, exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions.
  • Teamwork oriented.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Experience with SAP system preferred.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
