General Summary

The Senior Manager of Procurement is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization’s procurement strategy, supplier relationships, and contract management activities. This role ensures cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance excellence, contract compliance, and risk mitigation while supporting operational and business objectives The position partners closely with Legal, Finance, HR, Operations, and Business Leaders to ensure procurement practices align with corporate policies, compliance requirements, and long-term strategic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
    Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget objectives
    Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations
    Identify cost saving opportunities while maintaining quality, service levels, and compliance
Supplier & Vendor Management
    Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, and service level agreements (SLAs) for 200+ Tier 1 & 2 suppliers
    Ensure supplier compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
    Lead vendor reviews, renewals, and terminations as needed
Contract Management & Compliance
    Oversee contract lifecycle management, including renewals, amendments, and expirations
    Partner with Legal to ensure agreements meet compliance, risk, and governance standards
    Ensure contracts are executed timely and properly documented
Financial & Risk Management
    Monitor procurement spend and budgets with up to $7B in authority
    Identify and mitigate supply chain, contractual, and financial risks
    Support audits and ensure procurement documentation is accurate and audit ready
Cross Functional Collaboration
    Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and procurement requirements
    Provide guidance and support on procurement policies, processes, and best practices
    Support HR and Operations with staffing, services, and professional vendor agreements
Leadership & Process Improvement
    Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members (if applicable)
    Establish standardized procurement processes and continuous improvement initiatives
    Drive operational efficiency through systems, reporting, and data analysis

Qualifications & Job Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
•    7–10+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience
•    Strong experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and compliance
•    Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and high-value contracts
•    Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills


Preferred Qualifications
•    Master’s degree (MBA or related field)
•    Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, CPM)
•    Experience in manufacturing, staffing, or services procurement environments
•    Experience working closely with Legal and Finance teams

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required

•    Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
•    Strong systems, e-Kanban and/or SAP experience required.
•    Previous experience desired with CKD planning environment and/or import and export Material Planning with the ability to manage advanced inbound materials.
