Production Team Member (Material Handler)

General Summary

Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts and materials to production lines using tuggers and forklifts. This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining efficient material flow, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with production teams to meet daily schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate tuggers and forklifts to transport components, materials, and finished goods between storage areas and production lines.
• Monitor part availability and proactively replenish line-side inventory to prevent production delays.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain clean and organized staging areas and ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
• Perform routine checks on material handling equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs.
• Track and record material movements using inventory management systems or manual logs.
• Support production control activities by assisting with line-side inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies while operating equipment and handling materials.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience operating forklifts, tuggers, or other material handling equipment in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
• Ability to perform physical and exertional tasks and meeting other essential position requirements including social and physical environmental factors.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Flexible schedule to work overtime, holidays, weekends and rotating shifts as required.
