General Summary

 

IT Business Analyst

The purpose of this job is to work closely with business stakeholders to discuss, document and validate business operation requirements for the current KCA systems and manage new requirements for the enhancement or new development for improving business processes using BA technology. The position must ensure that the documentation clearly meets the business needs of the development team, and the development team accurately delivers the program/service based on those requirements, also must respond to all requirements in a timely manner. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Respond to all operational and process development/enhancement requirements on time.
  • Conduct the analysis in all aspects of business process for the business/system improvement.
  • Gather business requirements and provide correct documentation including process and data flow diagrams and reviews with direct reports and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of the project to deliver accuracy and completeness. 
  • Provide on-call and off-site support for operational systems when necessary.
  • Create ITSM/helpdesk ticket for application related issues.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education Requirement

 

 

  • University degree or work-related college diploma
  • 2 years of experience in projects, whereof a minimum of 1 year as a business analyst
  • Clear understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
  • Experience in developing effective solutions utilizing SharePoint's features and best practices
  • Experience in planning, system testing, coordinating UAT and documentation 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Working experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (e.g. SAP SD/MM & FI/CO, S/4HANA, Fiori, Concur, EAI, BSP and BI as an asset)
  • Experience in the Auto industry and the logistics industry is desired
