Sales Operations Analyst

General Summary

Reporting to the Supervisor, Sales Operations, the Sales Analyst will assist in the creation and distribution of daily sales reports to Sales and Senior Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to the National Sales Group. Involves preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, sales/marketing analysis, traffic reports and field staff activity.
  • Co-ordinates Regional Staff Meetings, special sales events, and other meetings as necessary
  • Assist with departmental budget preparation, accruals, tracking, reporting, and payments.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentation and Excel reports for National Sales Group and Executive Sales Coordinator
  • Liaison with vendors, Regional Sales Managers and other departments on sales initiatives and programs
  • Track progress of various National Sales programs and initiatives and report on the success of these programs
  • Coordinate and process incentive payouts and awards.
  • Administer National Sales vehicle purchase programs, including vendor programs, Friends of Kia, etc.
  • Assist with creation of new reports, reporting techniques, technical design, testing, and maintenance processes to improve effectiveness and understanding of company and industry data.
  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions.
  • Research past sales results, current market studies and competitive information and deliver timely and accurate reporting, and data exchange.
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in the business to plan, implement & execute key initiatives, while ensuring alignment with overall strategy and delivery on objectives
  • Other requests/projects including clerical duties that may be requested.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education Requirement

  • Self-starter and able to work independently, has the drive to achieve more.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge and hands on experience on working with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is an asset, but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills including formal and informal presentations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent time management, able to multitask, and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • University or College degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 1 to 2 years’ previous experience in automotive sales analysis preferred.
