General Summary

Business Planning Administrator will be responsible for KPI management of North American plants, such as production, shipment, inventory, and allocation. Also, this position will communicate and identify current agenda and on-going issues about production/quality/volume changes, and assist KIA NA management in devising an action plan. Last of all, Business Planning Administrator will provide assistance with any ad-hoc tasks/reports as required by the management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Priority One - 40%

  • Communicate and identify current agenda and open issues about plants operation (production, quality, part shortages, etc.).
  • Assist KIA NA management with devising action plan
  • Execute problem solving skills to provide remedy to production issues/constraints, and draft summary reports.

Priority Two- 30%

  • Create and submit North American plants daily performance report on major KPIs – including production, shipment, inventory, allocation, quality, and efficiency.
  • Develop KPI tracking reports (model/region/engine) to monitor production/shipment performance of KIA NA plants.

Priority Three- 15%

  • Support Business Strategy group with any ad-hoc and/or administrative tasks as required by management.
  • Data analysis/reporting, market research, collaborating/liaising between departments, other urgent assignments.

Priority Four - 15%

Market / Industry / Policy Research

  • Research and summarize North American competitor production strategies, EV programs, and battery investment trends.
  • Monitor U.S. government tariffs, regulations, and policy developments that may impact business operations.
  • Provide structured benchmarking materials for management reference.

Personally Performed Duties 

  • Provide regular reports to the management on KIA NA production/shipment, forecast orders in a timely manner with accuracy.
  • Provide assistance with executive level meeting/presentation materials
  • Provide ad-hoc support as required by the management.
  • Expected to work outside of regular work hours and/or during weekends/holidays, to communicate/collaborate with management/Korea HQ if necessary.

Qualifications/Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business administration, manufacturing, statistics, or finance, Supply chain management.
  • Intermediate experience in software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management and ability to collaborate with other departments.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with other departments.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Fluent in Korean/English (Bilingual).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Pay Range

$77,105.26 - $100,226.82 

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
