General Summary
Under general supervision, the Payroll Analyst applies knowledge to interpret and apply company polices and government regulations to administer payroll, consult with, and advise employees on payroll issues. This position ensures timely and accurate processing of employee payroll and ensures full compliance with the wage/hour regulations, company policies and procedures. The Analyst is also responsible for accurate and timely data management of all employees in the HRIS and Time/Attendance systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1st Priority - 25%
Enter, process, and balance the semi-monthly payroll. Ensure the accuracy and timely processing of payroll.
2nd Priority - 25%
Review timecards, attendance records, and meal/rest periods to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
3rd Priority - 15%
Review employee payroll data and documentation to ensure accuracy.
4th Priority - 15%
Validate the HRIS and Time/Attendance systems for all current employees, new hires and terminations.
5th Priority - 10%
Respond to employee inquiries regarding questions to paychecks, time and attendance, and other payroll related matters.
6th Priority - 10%
Create miscellaneous reports requested by management. Process verification of employment and any other ad hoc projects.
Qualifications/Education
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Job Requirement
Overall Related Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of payroll experience
Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required
- Experience with ADP WorkForce Now required
- Experience with ADP Essential Time a plus
- Knowledge of payroll functions
- Maintain and develop time and attendance system
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax, labor laws, and regulations
- SuccessFactors HRIS experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, organized and ability to plan workload
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel (xlookup, pivot tables)

Pay Range
$61,815 - $82,796
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
